
BSD are at the cutting edge of UK dyno testing and have been tuning and dyno-ing road and race engines since 1997.
We work with everyone from novice club racers to top level road race teams,
including factory-backed British Supersport and Superbike teams such as Hawk
Kawasaki, Medd Racing and Vivaldi Racing.
We’ve also competed successfully in
British Superbike and at the Isle Of Man TT with our own bike.
At BSD, we use an industry-standard Dynojet 250i dyno, which we’ve helped
develop with both Dynojet UK and Dynojet USA.
We’re also actively involved
in developing new Power Commander mapping on behalf of Dynojet.

For the road rider, we have a vast library of stock bike dyno figures
gathered from testing every new bike for the last ten years on behalf of MCN,
Bike, Performance Bikes, RiDE and Superbike magazines.
This gives us a crucial head-start in solving problems and developing new mapping
for all the latest bikes.

Shown below is a typical graph of a Yamaha R1 before and after installation
of the Power Commander, K&N and Arata full system.
The red curve shows horse power & torque after a full Arata system was
fitted in conjunction with a power commander and K&N filter, the blue curve
shows the bike as received from the customer.
